Location and Directions
The Hotel Gaspingerhof is located in Tirol/Austria, in the centre of Gerlos, a village located at an elevation of ca. 1,300 metres in the Gerlostal valley, a side valley of the Zillertal.
Although the Zillertal is a rural area, the infrastructure is very good. Many guests prefer to travel by train. The nearest train station for national and international trains is in Jenbach. From Jenbach, there is a regular bus and train service to Zell am Ziller. From there, continue to Gerlos by bus.
Please note that a toll sticker is mandatory on motorways in Austria (toll sticker must be displayed on the inside of the windshield).
From the north:
Inntalautobahn A12 – Exit Zillertal, continue on federal road B169
Toll-free via Lake Achensee or via federal road from Kiefersfelden – Wörgl – Rattenberg
From the east:
A10 Tauernautobahn to Werfen, B311 to Schwarzach, Zell am See, then follow the B168 to Mittersill and continue on the B165
From the west and south-West:
Autobahn A12 direction Salzburg, exit Zillertal
The Hotel Gaspingerhof is easily accessible year-round. Please note that in Austria snow tires and/or snow chains are compulsory when the road surface is covered in snow or ice.
If you travel to the Zillertal by car, you can park directly in front of the Gaspingerhof, check in and park your car in our underground car park. Many shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walking distance. Bus stops are right in front of the hotel. Everything is easy to get to, just leave your car parked.
