Although the Zillertal is a rural area, the infrastructure is very good. Many guests prefer to travel by train. The nearest train station for national and international trains is in Jenbach. From Jenbach, there is a regular bus and train service to Zell am Ziller. From there, continue to Gerlos by bus.

Please note that a toll sticker is mandatory on motorways in Austria (toll sticker must be displayed on the inside of the windshield).

From the north:
From Munich/Salzburg/Vienna take the A1, A8 and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A12 (motorway toll sticker required!) until you reach the Zillertal exit. Then follow the B169 to Zillertal. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Travelling via Lake Achensee is not recommended due to heavy traffic (slow-moving traffic and traffic jams)!

From the east:
A10 Tauernautobahn to Werfen, B311 to Schwarzach, Zell am See, then follow the B168 to Mittersill and continue on the B165

The Hotel Gaspingerhof is easily accessible year-round. Please note that in Austria snow tires and/or snow chains are compulsory when the road surface is covered in snow or ice.
